Former technical director of Nigeria Football Federation (NFF), James Peters has thrown his weight behind Super Eagles coach, Gernot Rohr to continue the style he has rolled out with the team.
Although some Nigerians have been critical of Rohr’s tactical approach, especially in terms of making substitutes during matches, ‘JP’ said in a chat with sports247.ng that he has nothing to complain about.
On the contrary, the former Flying Eagles handler said, while fans across the country are still trying to come to terms with Rohr’s coaching style, Peters is speaking in support of the Franco-German gaffer.
Peters said: “I have nothing to complain about and I am not worried in any form. Why should I be worried, when I know Rohr is doing his best to improve the team.
“The Eagles are beginning to take a new shape, following the injection of new players. For me, Rohr only needs some time to get his tactics right.”
