The Team manager of Olukismet FC of Ekiti, Issac Fakunle has announced that the Ekiti based NLO team will hit Lagos on Sunday ahead of Jagaban Cup which is scheduled to kick off 15, November at the Onikan Stadium, Lagos.
Fakunle in a chat with sports247.ng confirmed that the team would land in Lagos on Sunday afternoon and continue their preparation for the tournament.
“We are coming to Lagos on Sunday afternoon to continue our preparation for the Jagaban Cup.Presently we are in Ekiti to intensify our preparation and the players are in good shape to storm Lagos with high expectations,”he said.
Commenting on the welfare of the players, Fakunle disclosed that the players are well motivated by the management and ready to give their best in the tournament.
“Our players are already motivated.The management.Our Director, Prince Olumide Adegboye has boosted our players in terms of welfare and also our adviser, Mr Opeyemi Eniola and the Deputy Director, Mr Boboye Odunayo had charged the boys to give their best, so Lagosians should expect good football from Olukismet when the competition starts,”he said.
In his own comment, head coach of Olukismet, Oladeji Gabriel Atobaje assured Lagos football fans of good football.
He said his players are in high spirits and ready to shock any team that come their way.
“We are not coming to Lagos for sightseeing but we are coming to Lagos to market and expose our players.We have played series of friendly matches and I am impressed with the performance of my players and result of our friendlies.So we are coming to Lagos to compete with other invited teams,”he said.
He however admitted that the tournament would be tough but insisted that his players are ready to give their opponents a run for their money when the hostilities begin next week.
