Arsenal midfielder Alex Iwobi says his side can bounce back in the race for the Premier League’s top four despite suffering a setback at the Molineux.
Wednesday’s 3-1 loss to Wolves left Arsenal a point behind Chelsea in fourth and the race for Champions League qualification, but Iwobi feels his team has what it takes to usurp their rivals.
“It’s not a good result when we want to get in the top four, but we can’t dwell on it, we have to move on to the next game,” Iwobi stated after the loss to Wolves.
“Yeah, (top four) it’s still up for grabs. We believe we have a chance, so we’ll keep going.
“Last time we had back-to-back (league) defeats, we went on an amazing run. We’ll look at that as a confidence boost, go back to training and just focus on the next game.”
Four clubs (Tottenham, Chelsea, Arsenal and Manchester United) are still in the hunt for the remaining two Champions League spots, with just just three games left in the league.
