Iwobi put Fulham ahead 2-1 in the 32nd minute with a deflected effort, registering his eighth career Premier League goal.

He then turned provider with a crucial assist five minutes later, extending Fulham’s lead to 3-1 and securing a vital three points at Craven Cottage.

The win propels Fulham to eighth in the Premier League standings, strengthening their push for a European qualification spot with only seven matches left in the season.

For Liverpool, the defeat brings an end to an impressive 26-game unbeaten run in the league.

Despite the loss, Arne Slot’s side still sit 11 points clear at the top of the table, needing just 11 more points from their remaining fixtures to clinch the Premier League title.
