Arsenal of England attacker, Alex Iwobi again gained expert advice and experienced tips from his uncle, Austin ‘Jay Jay’ Okocha, with both stars exchanging views ahead of Monday night’s clash with Newcastle United in the English Premier League, sports247.ng reports.
As Arsenal play host to Newcastle at Emirates Stadium, the Super Eagles star enters the game fresh from a visit to his uncle, Okocha, who said he was happy to give his nephew new ideas for success.
Okocha disclosed as much, as the former Eagles’ captain revealed how he had the privilege of hosting Iwobi few hours after the youngster was in action for Nigeria during a 1-0 friendly win against Egypt in Asaba.
While many fans are critical of the 22-year-old Iwobi’s performances of recent, Okocha says it is only a matter of him learning more ropes of the game, for which he said he will always put him through fresh ideas.
The former Eintracht Frankfurt of Germany, Fenerbahce of Turkey and Paris Saint-Germaine of France star, who went on to captain Bolton Wanderers ended his career at the Hill City of England, took to social media to reveal how delighted he was to once again play the role of mentor.
