Iwobi Emerges Top With Three ‘Awards’ In Osimhen’s Lifestyle Assessment Of Super Eagles’ Players

Fulham of England’s in-form midfield dazzler, Alex Iwobi has emerged first among Super Eagles’ players in a recreational assessment of their off-field and lifestyle qualities by the Nigerian national team’s top striker, Victor James Osimhen.

Sports247 reports that Osimhen’s rundown of the social life and private styles of his national team colleagues saw Iwobi garner best spot in three categories, while Bayer Leverkusen of Germany striker, Victor Boniface placed second with two ‘awards’ served him by the 2023 African Footballer of The Year.

While Osimhen, who is set to remain on loan at Galatasaray of Turkey until the end of this season, gave himself top accolades as the Eagles’ player with the best music taste, he granted Iwobi top spot in best hairstyle, best fashion sense and best in playing EA Sport video games, making it a warm off-field hat trick for the revitalised dazzler.

Iwobi is closely followed on Osimhen’s jovial chart by Boniface, who got the nod for worst music taste and then shared the choice of funniest player in the Eagles’ camp with Sevilla of Spain attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho.

Other players who found their names mentioned by Osinhem during his off-field ratings in a viral video posted on social media are Ola Aina (fastest player), Wilfred Ndidi (most hardworking) and skipper of the side, William Troost-Ekong (most likely to become a coach); while the entire team was named the Eagles’ gaffer’s favourite.

Incidentally, Osimhen’s verdict about Iwobi’s lifestyle excellence, which rates him ahead of his Super Eagles’ pals in terms of leisure, comes at a time he is in a rich vein of form for Fulham in the English Premier League.

He was again on top of his game for The Cottagers during this week, as he struck home two goals that took his total tally for the current season to seven, as well as double figures in overall contributions for his eighth placed EPL side.

Although his brace this past Tuesday could only serve as consolation in his team’s 3-2 London derby loss to West Ham United, Iwobi again gained immense individual accolades, as an abundance of rave reviews continue to flood his way during what is fast turning into his best ever season in the EPL.
