Arsenal attacker, Alex Iwobi is staying humble and calm under pressure, as the Super Eagles youngster reiterates that he is yet to fully mature and still growing in the game, hence his determination to keep learning.
Sports247.ng reports that Iwobi has received an equal share of criticism and praise during the unfolding season, as observers see him oscillating from top-grade performances to paltry outings with The Gunners.
Another round of accolades trailed Iwobi, after yet another sterling performance and goal by him in Arsenal’s 2-1 win against Huddersfield Town in the English Premier League, but it came few days before he then toiled against BATE Borisov of Belarus in the UEFA Europa League.
Iwobi was back in action with The Gunners for Thursday’s second leg of the clash against BATE, with critical comments trailing him from a broad section of the British media, which tagged him ‘inconsistent’ player.
However, rather than be bothered by the verbal scolding he receives off and on, Iwobi is staying calm, as he insists he is yet to fully develop as a footballer, and explained his position via social media.
Iwobi, who captained Arsenal’s under-21 squad before he ws promoted to the main team, added to his graphics on Twitter: “Willing to learn.”
