I’ve not been tested positive for corona virus – Ahmed Musa laments

Super eagles winger and captain Ahmed Musa has come out to say that he has not been tested positive to corona virus.

The Al-Nassr player said this after it was brought to his notice that there are rumors around saying he is being tested positive to covid19. In his words, he and his family are doing fine and have not been tested positive.

He told the public to discard any information about him being tested positive. The Nigeria world cup hero registered his dismay on his instagram page as he says: “It has come to my notice that certain individuals have decided to post 𝐟𝐚𝐥𝐬𝐞 𝐧𝐞𝐰𝐬 about me testing positive to Covid 19.”

The corona virus pandemic has taken too much lives to joke with. Therefore it shouldn’t be a thing of joke just to gain cheap popularity, the former Leicester City man explained: “This is a pandemic taking peoples lives in thousands so it is sad that some people want to use this to gain followers or views on their pages by spreading falsehood.”

Ahmed Musa came into the country few days ago with fellow country man John Ogu after the later indicated interest of coming home alongside other nationals

“𝐌𝐲 𝐟𝐚𝐦𝐢𝐥𝐲 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐈 𝐜𝐚𝐦𝐞 𝐢𝐧 𝐟𝐫𝐨𝐦 𝐒𝐚𝐮𝐝𝐢 𝐀𝐫𝐚𝐛𝐢𝐚 𝐚𝐧𝐝 𝐝𝐞𝐜𝐢𝐝𝐞𝐝 𝐭𝐨 𝐟𝐨𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐰 𝐭𝐡𝐞 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭’𝐬 𝐫𝐮𝐥𝐞 𝐨𝐟 𝐢𝐬𝐨𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝟏𝟒 𝐝𝐚𝐲𝐬 not because any of us have the virus.⁣”

“We are perfectly okay and have not tested positive to the virus. Please don’t fall for the malicious messages circulating about me or my family. ⁣”

Musa concluded by telling fans to stay safe and observe social distance “𝐒𝐭𝐚𝐲 𝐬𝐚𝐟𝐞, 𝐦𝐚𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐢𝐧 𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐥 𝐝𝐢𝐬𝐭𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐢𝐧𝐠.”
