Matchday seven in The Creative Championship (TCC) league saw Dino SC thump Imperial FC 7-0 amidst other results reports Sports247.
This win for Dino set a new record for the highest-scoring match and the biggest win of TCC League with Hyacinth Ogonna of Dino FC scoring a hattrick and picking up the Man of the Match award.
Coach of the Imperial FC, Abdulfatai Abdulwahab gave his reaction to his side’s loss in the game. “It was a very disappointing outing today and very poor performance from the guys. We had a plan and train hard to get our first win today but unfortunately, the boys could not raise up their game,” he said.
Imperial FC conceded the first goal as early as two minutes and found it difficult to get back into the game despite missing an array of chances of their own. “I wasn’t happy with the result, it’s very disappointing. But no problem, it’s a game of football, we learn from it and move forward. We will get there, it’s just a matter of time. Especially when a team is parading the young boys to compete at the big level like this” said a rather disappointed coach.
Imperial FC are yet to record a win in seven games so far in TCC League, having recorded 2 draws and 5 losses which leave them bottom of the eight teams league table with Remo Stars U19 top of the table.
