Coach Musa Abdulrazaq of The Future Academy (TFA) shares his thoughts on their U15 final match against Right to Smile at the Kidsport Charity Cup Season 13, held at the Campos Mini Stadium on Saturday.
Despite their 1-1 draw at full time, TFA emerged as runners-up in the penalty kickout, and Coach Musa expresses encouragement for the team’s performance, considering it was their first participation in the tournament.

In a post-match interview with Sports247, Coach Abdulrazaq describes the experience as fantastic, emphasizing the well-organized nature of the tournament.
He expresses satisfaction with the players’ performance, stating, “It was fantastic. The organizing was awesome. This is our first time playing the 11 aside game. We are used to playing 5 aside. The players exceeded our expectations. They gave it a lot of fight, and we are satisfied with that even though we are the runners-up.”
Looking ahead, Coach Musa outlines plans for TFA, stating, “After this competition, hopefully, we are going to do more of this. We are going to participate in more important competitions like this, and we are going to play more 11 aside games which is going to give our players more exposure.

As you can see, we are the youngest in the competition, and we made it to the finals. It shows the work we have been doing, and we believe we can do more better with the project.”
Expressing gratitude to the organizers, Coach Musa highlights the significance of the Kidsport Charity Cup, stating, “The Kidsport Charity Cup is fantastic. Giving back to the community is something very important.
And for them to identify that is something very important to the nation. We need to show love and give back to the community. And that’s what they have been doing. From the beginning of the competition, the organizing is very excellent.”
Coach Musa Abdulrazaq emphasizes the achievement of being the youngest team in the competition and reaching the final. He recognizes the hard work put in by both the coaching staff and players, expressing satisfaction and pride in their accomplishments.
