Israel Adesanya Aims To Reclaim Middleweight Title With Knockout At UFC 305

Former middleweight champion Israel Adesanya is determined to recapture his UFC crown with a knockout victory over South African grappler Dricus du Plessis at UFC 305.

Adesanya, known as ‘The Last Stylebender,’ is preparing for a high-stakes bout as he looks to reclaim the title he once held.

Adesanya, who transitioned from a successful kickboxing career to MMA, quickly rose to prominence in the UFC, capturing the middleweight title and going on an impressive unbeaten streak.

However, after a series of intense fights, including two against Alex Pereira, Adesanya lost his title to Sean Strickland, who was subsequently dethroned by du Plessis. Now, the Nigerian-Kiwi fighter is focused on reclaiming his throne.

In a recent interview, Adesanya shared his strategy for the upcoming fight, acknowledging the challenges posed by du Plessis’ grappling skills. “Dricus Du Plessis is a guy who fights his way, but it leaves him vulnerable. When you fight someone precise and lethal like me, the highlights come naturally,” Adesanya said.

He anticipates that du Plessis will rely heavily on his grappling. “I doubt he’ll want to strike with me for too long. But I’ve shown before that I can wrestle too, and that’s how I became world champion.”

With his confidence high and his sights set on victory, Adesanya is prepared to deliver a stunning performance and reclaim the middleweight title at UFC 305.
