Top form from Watford striker, Isaac Success and other players in the squad is giving The Hornets’ goalkeeper, Ben Forster enough confidence to believe in their chances of a best ever finish in the Premier League.
Sports247.ng reports that, although Success has not hit a regular run of goals, the former BJ Foundation of Benin City, Udinese of Italy and Granada od Spain striker has been in battling form all season long.
With such battling efforts from Success, Forster is of a view that Watford have become very formidable this time out, such that they can pull off the best end to a campaign in the English top-flight this season.
Watford are currently eighth in the Premier League after losing five of their 21 games this season, with back-to-back draws in their last two games against Bournemouth and Newcastle United.
Although Success’ club’s shot-stopper admitted it is always difficult to keep momentum going in the second half of the season, he believes Watford have the player quality to do so.
Foster, who rejoined Watford from West Brom in July, says the club have the players to continue the positive first half of the season they had.
Success’ pal declared: “It’s not a conscious decision to just take your foot off the gas and roller coaster it to the end of the season.
“It’s a hard thing to overcome really. There’s definitely a mental, psychological side that you could do with looking into a bit more.
“I’ve been at West Brom and the amount of seasons where we have got 30-odd points by Christmas, then you end up with 40 points.”
