Watford of England coach, Javi Gracia is once again raining superlatives on the club’s Nigerian striker, Isaac Success, who the gaffer declared adds power and pace to The Hornets’ attack.
Sports247.ng can report hat Gracia has missed Success in recent games, as the Super Eagles all-action attacker last featured for Watford in a 2-1 loss to Tottenham Hotspur on January 30.
However, the injury prone former BJ Foundation of Benin City, Udinese of Italy as well as ex-Malaga and Granada of Spain hitman missed three straight games against Brighton, Everton and Queens Park Rangers.
It appeared to be a repeat of the scenario that saw Success need surgery on a serious injury last season, which caused him to lose crucial playing time at Vicarage Road and put his future in doubt.
However, Success resumed training with The Hornets on Wednesday, as they prepared to face Cardiff City away in the English Premier League on Friday, and Gracia said he was happy to have the striker back.
The Watord boss confirmed that Success had recovered from a hamstring complaint that kept him out for three weeks and was in line for his 28th game of the season in all competitions.
Gracia added: ”Isaac hasn’t played the same minutes as other players, but the time he played, he played with quality and is helping the team.
”He’s a good option for us in attack with his power and pace. He is something different for us to help us manage different games.”
