Watford of England striker, Isaac Success is the earliest of the Super Eagles stars invited for Saturday’s Africa Cup of nations fixture against Libya, as he turned up in Lagos on Saturday.
Success landed in Nigeria’s former capital barely 24 hours after lining out for his club in the English Premier League, and will move to the national camp early Monday.
Information reaching sports247.ng indicates that the former Granada of Spain star landed in Lagos in high spirit, as he aims to make the best of his return to the national team.
It would be his first appearance for the Eagles in 19 months, hot on the heels of a return to top scoring form for the UAE 2013 FIFA U-17 World Cup gold medalist.
However, Success returns to the Eagles’ camp with a blight, having played only as a 55th minute substitute for his club on Saturday, and they fell 4-0 to Bournemouth in his tenth consecutive game for The Hornets in all competitions so far this season.
Before then, Success scored two goals in same number of Carabao Cup matches before Watford crashed out of the competition, and will now take that mood to the Eagles’ base at Ibom Hotel & Golf Resort, Uyo on Monday.
