Inter Lagos FC coach Gabriel Ezema has expressed his delight at securing a federation cup ticket and declared his team’s ambition to clinch the Lagos State FA Cup trophy, despite being debutants in the competition.
Ezema emphasized the significance of their qualification for the national FA cup, highlighting their underdog status as debutants in the Lagos State FA Cup. However, he asserted that they are determined to give their all and aim for victory when they face their opponents on Sunday at the Mobolaji Johnson Arena.
“The most important thing for us is that we’re in the national FA cup now. Don’t forget we’re still debutants. We’re still underdogs in quote, and we just want to enjoy ourselves on Sunday, give it our all,” Coach Gabriel remarked.
Expressing his confidence in the team’s abilities, Ezema stated, “I’m not used to losing finals. I believe that on Sunday will not be different. We just have to go for the trophy.”
