In a story of perseverance, talent, and determination, Samuel Isife has emerged as the sole survivor among 12 young footballers scouted from the Zenith Future Eagles representing the South East.
From his humble beginnings in Udi Local Government, Enugu State, he has risen through the ranks to secure a professional opportunity in the Czech Republic.
His development was made possible through a strategic partnership between River Lane Youth Club, under Coach Jude Agada, and 36 Lion Football Club, led by Coach Akinshola Akinrele (Baba Arigo).
Despite the challenges posed by the Covid-19 pandemic, the transition to 36 Lion FC was successfully executed, setting the stage for his rigorous football development.
Throughout his time at 36 Lion, Isife was tested in multiple positions before excelling as a right wing-back.
His strength, intelligence, and tactical discipline have drawn comparisons to Honorable Patrick Ekeji, the former Director General of the Nigeria Sports Commission.
Among the 12 originally selected players, Isife was the only one who endured the demanding training, proving his resilience and dedication.
Now, his hard work is paying off as he embarks on a new chapter with FC Vlašim in the Czech Republic.
His journey is an inspiration to young Nigerian footballers, proving that with hard work, discipline, and the right mentorship, dreams can become reality.
