Humphey Gabriel returned to action for Vanung University to inspire the Lions to 93-51 win over Tsinghua in Game 3 of the University Basketball Association (UBA) League.
The Nigerian sat out the first two games due to a thigh injury sustained on the eve of the Start of the League.
While out, Vanung Blew out Zhonghua 151-34 in Game 1 Kainan 141-41 in Game 2.
Coach Ben Sim rested his talisman in those two games but had to bring him on for Game 3 as they face stiffer opposition. The Nigerian Scored 10 points 6 rebounds and 4 assist to give Vanung treble victory.
“Gabee will get to play a lot in the second and final rounds, the coach needs to manage him well to avoid injuries as Vanung Targets promotion to the elite division,” Humphery’s Agent Mr. Ryan Ly said.
Vanung will take on Jiantong in Game 4 on Sunday Before rounding up the first round on Monday against Xuanzang.
