Chairman of the NFF Congress Secretaries, Mr. Kehinde Ojelowo has sent a congratulatory message on behalf of NFF Congress Secretaries to Nigerians and the Board of Nigeria Football Federation, NFF, ably led by Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau.
Praising the efforts of the resilient girls in the United States of America, the Oyo State FA Scribe described the Victory as a good tonic for the new NFF Board to turn things around for the nation’s football
“On behalf of the entire members of Representatives of the NFF Congress Secretaries, I heartily congratulate Football loving Nigerians and the Board of Nigeria Football Federation, ably led by Alhaji Ibrahim Musa Gusau for the victory recorded by the U17 Women’s team against the United States of America. It was a hard-fought victory for the Flamingoes and thus qualified us to the Semi-finals of the FIFA U17 Women’s World Cup for the first time. This is a pointer to the good things to come under this administration”.The soft-spoken Scribe enthused
Extolling the good qualities of former Zamfara FA Chairman, the Congress Secretaries supremo noted that Gusau possesses outstanding leadership qualities which he exhibited while he was the Chairman of Chairmen. Alhaji Gusau is very accommodating, hospitable, and kind and has listening ears to manage human resources. The way he handled issues relating to the welfare of the Secretaries while he was the chairman of the chairmen was very exceptional. In fact, our association strongly believes he will perform a lot better as the president of NFF, God’s willing”.
Ojelowo added that: “Alhaji Gusau has made tremendous efforts within the short time he took over the rein of the national football. He has appointed Age grade advisors and inaugurated IMC /LMC Committee with terms of reference. These are good steps in the right direction. You have shown a passion for this job and it’s only natural that you will succeed, amen”.
