Right Choice Vision FC emerged victorious against Mighty Stars FC with a narrow 1-0 win in a thrilling finale of the LAB Memorial Football carnival 3.
The journey to the final was no less exciting. Mighty Stars FC had a nail-biting penalty shootout victory over Collins Edwin Sports Club, while Right Choice Vision FA convincingly defeated Rechabite FC 3-0.
The coach of Right Choice Vision FA Hussein Sherrif, still basking in the glow of victory, shared his excitement and joy.
“I’m very excited and very happy. I don’t really know how to express myself but I am really excited.
We were confident of winning this game by the grace of God and I am glad we did,” he said.
This win holds significant importance for the coach’s career.
“Last year I finished my coaching course in NIS, so I’m very happy and it is going to add to my profile and CV.
It’s going to show that what i went to learn in NIS is not a waste. Because I just won one trophy after NIS and now I have won another, I’m very happy,” he added.
The coach also expressed his pride in his players.
“What I’m teaching them, that is what they are doing. So I’m very happy for them. They proved it to everybody.
They showed their talent, and everything to the world, because everything I taught them in training, that’s what they are showcasing on the field.”
Looking ahead, the team is already preparing for their next challenge.
“We are going to prepare for our NLO match and we look forward to emerge as champions there too. So we are preparing for it, insha Allah,” the coach concluded.
