Turkish Club Ahlatcı Çorum FK has acquired the services of Nigerian defender Michael Ologo, formerly of Imperial FC on loan till the end of the 2023/2024 season.

As revealed, the 20-year-old Michael Ologo who played in Istanbulspor prior to this move has signed a 1-year loan contract with his new side although his contract is still valid with his parent club until 2027.
In the statement made by Çorum FK, “Our club has signed a loan agreement with defender Michael Ologo until the end of the 2023-2024 football season. Good luck to our entire community,” the statement read.
The Nigerian defender made a total of 35 games in Istanbulspor, which he transferred at the beginning of the 2021-2022 season. The current market value of the 20-year-old defender is 500 thousand euros.
In his debut season at Istanbulspor, he registered twenty-seven appearances across all competitions and helped the club secure promotion to the Turkish Super Lig.
Ologo was part of Nigeria’s Olympic national team squad that beat Tanzania on aggregate in the 2023 U23 Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers.
He was later invited to the Flying Eagles but missed out on the roster for the 2023 U20 AFCON due to fitness issues.
