Youths Sports Federation of Nigeria (YSFON) Imo state chapter has intensified preparations ahead of this year’s edition of the Champions League, the statesman newspaper reports.

12 teams will be expected to slug it out at the old township stadium Tetlow Road Owerri for the Ultimate 250,000 Naira cash price donated by Mc Niel Apartments and the second price of 150,000 Naira donated by John Opara AKA Johnny Be Good.
Individual best award will also be given to top best player, best keeper, and highest goal scorer.
Registration has begun in Ernest and 8 teams have secured registration for participation already and 4 slots are waiting for the lucky 4 ahead of the registration deadline day.
Registration ends 10 days before kickoff while all participating teams will pick up their individual kit on the day of the draw.
Teams are expected to choose Champions League teams of their choice in due course.
Kick off date still remains on the 27th of October while the registration fee is 68,000 Naira.
