Nigeria descent Serie A defender, Destiny Udogie has bid Udinese goodbye following the end of the 2022/2023 season after two years at the club where he initially joined on loan from Hellas Verona he will now be moving back to his parent club in England.

The Tottenham defender expressed his gratitude towards Udinese for giving him a ‘great opportunity’ to show what he is capable of, before asserting that he is ‘ready for the Premier League’ during a post-match interview after the final day of the 2022-23 Serie A season on Sunday evening.
In 2022, Udogie who was 19 at that time was snapped up by Tottenham in August of last summer’s transfer window, before immediately being sent back on loan to continue his development in Italy.
After two years in the black and white jersey as a winger, the highly rated and versatile player thanked the club management for their belief and trust in his abilities while wishing them well for the future.
“I have to thank the club so much for having invested and believed in me in these two seasons. I can’t say anything but thank you. I knew my qualities, I just wanted to express them and Udinese gave me this great chance.
Udogie will now join Tottenham when the pre-season begins under newly appointed coach, Ange Postecoglou.
