On Sunday, Dannaz FC came from a goal down to defeat DRV FC 2-1 in the week 5 of the 2021 Fusion Football Championship.
After going behind to a Moses Odom strike in opening minutes of the encounter, Dannaz FC equalised through Samson Kayode in the 15th minute before going on to snatch the winner in the second half through substitute Obakimi Joshua.
Post-match, goalscorer, Obakimi Joshua had this to say on his match winning. goal:
“The coach tells us that whenever we are with the ball we should always attack. That we should go forward. That was on my mind when I came on. I was just going forward and when I got the chance to score I took it.
“I am happy that I came from the bench and assisted my team.” he added.
The win moves Dannaz FC to first position in the Fusion Football Championship with 11 points after five games.
