Grace Kurah, aka Coach Mama, has praised the performance of her Edo Queens despite the 2-1 loss to Bayelsa Queens in their third game of the NWFL Super Six.
Grace emphasized the mental strength of the players to still put up a fight and an even better performance despite the situation that made them have to work with a new coach for the Super Six tournament.
“The instructions I gave to them, they followed it up, putting five to six passes together before losing the ball and I’m happy they took the instructions,” Grace told Sports247.
“2-1 is not a bad result for them because as the time goes on the improvement will come in and I give kudos to them,” she added.
Coach mama went on to state the team will fight for maximum points in the two games left, first against defending Champions Rivers Angels and then Naija Ratels.
“We’ll return to the drawing board, make corrections and come out to get a win against Rivers Angels and Naija Ratels,” coach mama said to Sports247.
“I will also like to thank the Government of Edo State for giving me the opportunity to handle the girls and I love the girls so much for taking to instructions,” she concluded.
