Nigerian U17 & U20 striker, Wisdom Ubani who was picked from his performance for Team Lagos all the way from the build-up down to the National Sports Festival has penned a deal in Croatia.
Young striker Wisdom Ubani completed the move recently to Croatian Club Locomotivia which takes the lad to Europe and serves as a huge chance to grow professionally and finally reach his desired heights.
Speaking on the move, coach of Team Lagos Adesina Yusuf who worked closely with Wisdom shared his excitement with Sports247 on the move of his former player.
“I’ve very happy that he has moved to a club in Croatia. I’m glad he has taken another good step in his career and I’m very happy about it,” coach Adesina said
“It shows that Lagos state has done so well, the State Football Association has done well in terms of keeping these lads and making sure they move to the next level of their career,” he added.
“He has performed well always and he’s a good striker. He represented Nigeria at the U17 level as well as the U20 level and also played for the Lagos State festival team, so I’m very happy as a coach to hear the news and I’m very sure he will be successful there and take a big step to the world in the next level,” coach Adesina said.
The coach of Team Lagos rounded off by saying Wisdom is very jovial, friendly and the kind of player every coach will like to work with.
