The Ilorin East local Government mgt committee recently met with the game masters in all the wards in the local government.
The meeting presided by Hajia Segilola Alaya as a result of the unavoidable absence of the council chairman.
It was also delibrated that as part of the fantastic effort for grass roots development of women’s football, the maiden edition of the Junior secondary school U15 female football championship would embrace primary 5 and 6 girls at every ward in the local govt.
” I salute the courage of the LGEA mgt and the game masters for their effort in making sure the competition will be lively and interesting”.
Hajia Segilola Alaya also notified the various wards on the dates the girls will be screened.
” Rural screening comes up 20th November while Urban screening would be 24th November and the opening ceremony would come up on the 25th at the oke- oyi LGEA. The closing ceremony wraps up on the 9th of December 2020 at the Kwara state stadium” . She concluded
