The highly-anticipated “Kwara Made Us” five-a-side football tournament is set to commence on Tuesday, 19th December, within the state-of-the-art indoor sports hall of the Kwara State Stadium Complex in Ilorin.

The brainchild of AMAPRO Africa Development Program and Phreestyle Sport Limited, the Kwara Made Us project aims to pay tribute to Kwara State’s significant role in creating opportunities and sustainable platforms for both indigenes and non-indigenes.
The week-long soccer fiesta kicks off with thirty-six (36) teams vying for the coveted top crown in the preliminary rounds. The opening match at 8 am will witness House of Prayer FA facing off against Shining Stars FA, setting the stage for an exhilarating tournament.
Shogo Shodunnke, the visionary behind the initiative, highlighted the primary objective of using sports as a powerful tool for youth development and empowerment.
“Our goal is to harness the potential of sports to positively impact the lives of young individuals, providing them with opportunities for growth and success,” Shodunnke explained.
