The capacity Chairman of Anambra Football Association General Chikelue Iloenyosi has lifted the morale of athletes set to represent the state in the National Sports Festival South East elimination event when he visited thier camp to show support and motivate them financially.
The General advised the athletes to be good ambassadors of the state and show fairness in their respective competitions.

Try and be worthy ambassadors of this state. Compete fair and win honorably. You don’t know who is watching you, just give your best at all times. In sports, consistency is key, always remember that. I wish you all luck and hope you guys come back victorious. I have a token that I will give to the commission to support you guys financially.”*
The acting Chairperson of the Sports Commission, Faith Okwonna thanked the General for his moral boasting visit and assured him that the contingent will do everything within their powers to represent the state accordingly.

Since I have been here, this is the first time that an FA Chairman will be paying athletes in camp a visit to support them. The Anambra Contingent to the South East Zonal Elimination event departed Awka today for Owerri where they will be competing in games like Football, Basketball, Volleyball, some track and field events for tickets to participate in the National Sports Festival in Asaba, Delta state in November of this year.
