Nigeria’s under-15 national team, Future Eagles coach, Haruna Ilerika has warned that the Super Eagles could face a shock in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier against Libya, if the hosts do not gird their loins properly.
Ilerika, in an interview with sports247.ng, expressed fear that danger might be looming for Nigeria in the encounter at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium, Uyo, if the Eagles fail to keep on their toes all through the encounter.
Ilerika, however, charged the Nigerian players to go all out and play for victory, but added that the lads must not be selfish in front of goal.
“This is a match we just have to win, but I am afraid our boys might take it for granted, because they see Libya as a small team.
“My advice for them, though, is that they must go for outright victory. I do not care how the goals will come; but the target should be the three points at stake.”
