Head coach of Ultimate Villa Football Club, Ogunbunmi Abolore was delighted on Saturday when his team recorded three point away in the week two of Ikorodu Divisional Football League.
Ultimate Villa defeated Edunz feeders 1-0 in their home ground. The hard fought victory earned Ultimate Villa to secure four points on the table in their two matches played so far.
Reacting to the victory, Abolore who could not hide his feeling boasted that their victory was well deserved and promised to go far in the league.
” It was a tough match for us because the home team gave a good account of themselves. I am happy that our game plan worked for us and my players played to instructions which gave us hard fough victory,” he said.
Abolore disclosed that his team are in the league to make top four but urged his players to remain focused and steadfast in their remaining matches.
Asked his expectations in their next home match against St Charles Athletics FC, Abolore who double as manager said his players are in high spirit and ready to take their opponents to cleaner.
“We want to win our next home match to brighten our chances on the table. It would be a serious setback if we lose or draw our next home match,” he concluded.
