Discussing the penalty kick, Shola expressed his satisfaction, saying, “I’m pleased I didn’t miss the goal. I’m impressed and very happy. It’s not easy to play a first match with a new team and score a goal. Since I’ve not had much experience with them yet, being invited for trials, I’m thrilled to have scored.”
Regarding his future with Ikorodu City FC, Shola revealed his enthusiasm, stating, “I have a strong affection for the team and enjoy playing with them. I hope to contribute more.”
In terms of his future ambitions, Shola aims to play professional football abroad, citing Victor Osimhen and Lewandoski as his role models.
