Bright Ozegbagbe, the coach of Ikorodu City, expressed his elation at winning the Lagos State FA Cup but emphasized that the victory only signals more hard work ahead for him and his team.
Ozegbagbe stated that the team is determined to improve on their performance from the previous season’s Federation Cup.
“It’s a great feeling to win the Lagos State FA Cup, but we understand that this achievement only comes with more hard work. Our eyes are on the team now, and we know we have to double our efforts,” Ozegbagbe commented.
The coach highlighted the team’s aspirations for the upcoming season, stating their goal to surpass their performance from the previous year’s Federation Cup.
“This year, we want to go further than we did last year.
We were knocked out in the second round last season, but this year, we aim to push harder and try to advance even further,” Ozegbagbe added.
