Head Coach of Samjason Football Club,Toyin Shoyemi says his team still need to win more matches if they want to qualify for super four in the Ikeja Divisional Super League.
Shoyemi disclosed this after his team beat YG Boys 2-0 in the week three of the league which held on Friday at the Egan Grammar Igando, Alimosho, Lagos.
Samjason are currently in their best form as the home team had won two matches with six points and four goals.
Shoyemi commended his players for their performance in the league but reminded his players to win more matches if they want to go far in the league.
” We had a good start in the league with two victories.My players have done well in their two matches but i still want them to give me more victories especially in away matches.My target is to win all our home matches and get more victories in our away matches,”he said.
YG Coach, Elkareem Mohammed said their defeat was a wake up call and urged his players to work hard before their next game.
Paul Ndubisi and Kelvin Sunday were on scorer sheet for Samjason as duo scored one goal each in both halves.
Having suffered scandalous defeat in the hands of Magboro, Crowned Academy returned to their winning way after defeating Air Rovers 3-2 on Thursday at Abesan Sports center.
