Dosu Joseph FA manager Ekundayo Shina has reacted to his side’s 2-1 defeat at the hands of NAFRC FC in the Ikeja Divisional FA League Super 4 tournament on Thursday.
NAFRC FC came out on top in an eventful game at the Agege Stadium to open the series.
Speaking to Sports247 after the match, Shina discussed his thoughts on the outcome of the game and stated that his team will come all out for victory in their next game.
“I am surprised with the result of the game. We played our hearts out but in the last 15 minutes, we lost our concentration. That was just it.”
“It is a wake-up call that we ought to do the needful. In the second game, we will try to win it. Then the third game we’ll also try and win it then we see what those other two teams will do with their games.
“We’ll come here tomorrow and give our best. I think we are going to win the next game,” he said confidently.
Coach Shina extended praise to the opposition team describing them as a ‘very good side’.
“They are a very good side. We’ve played against them three times now. We lost two of those games and drew one. So it was like we were coming in to win today but you know that’s football for you. Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose or draw. But the loss of today is due to the indiscipline of my boys but we’ll try and correct it tomorrow and be more positive.” he concluded.
