Ikechukwu Ezenwa, the former Nigeria international goalkeeper, shared an inspiring message as the 2024/25 season approaches.
Ezenwa took the opportunity to express his gratitude and optimism for the future, emphasizing the importance of unity and support within the football community, especially among NPFL goalkeepers, players, and coaches.

“I just want to use this special time to say a big thank you for all your prayers. God bless you all. I’m so happy with the wishes, and I believe this platform is taking us to a greater height,” Ezenwa began.
He highlighted the necessity of being each other’s keepers, acknowledging that everyone is imperfect and stressing the importance of support, especially during challenging times. “We need to try and support each other, even when there’s a mistake or anything.”
Ezenwa emphasized the enduring nature of the group, saying, “In this group, we should always come together to advise and encourage each other because this platform is here to stay forever.
So many people are going to come and go, but this platform will be forever to encourage the young ones, to always make them understand that when there is togetherness, there’s always success.”
He also extended special thanks to those who played a crucial role in establishing the platform. “Special thanks to all those who come together to create this platform, especially the leader, or would I call it the chairman, John Dosu. God bless you. God protect you. More wisdom to do more.”
Ezenwa also acknowledged the efforts of the executives and all members who have been instrumental in advancing the goalkeeping group, praying for continued blessings upon them.
Expressing his pride in the group, Ezenwa concluded, “I myself, wherever I am, I’m proud of this group. And I believe before the 2024/25 season commences, you’re gonna hear something good from me. God bless you all. One love, keep us together.”
