Super Eagles hopeful Ike Ugbo scored twice for Cercle Brugge in their 3-0 Belgium First Division A win over Oud-Heverlee on Saturday, Sports247 reports.
Cercle had Kévin Hoggas sent off in the first half before Ugbo found the back of the net to put them 1-0 up heading into the break.
In the 56th minute, Ugbo netted again to give the home team a 2-0 lead with his second of the game.
Assisted by Dimitar Velkovski, Jérémy Travel made sure of the points for Cercle with the third goal of the game.
Ugbo was withdrawn in the latter stages for Kévin Denkey after an inspired display.
On a season-long loan from Chelsea, the 22-year-old has caught the eye this season. The brace brought up his tally for the season to 15 goals in 31 league games for Cercle Brugge.
The win also take the Green and Black to 35 points in the table after 32 matches, four points and a place above the relegation zone.
