Ihu-iyase FC of Agbor on Saturday lifted the second edition of the Anioma Cup following a 4-2 victory over Ogwashi Uku based Visionaries FC.
The Coach Timothy Ujah side started the game like a train when they opened the scores as early as 6th minute of the encounter but Visionaries level scores 6 minutes later to show their intent not to go down without a fight.
The Ogwashi Uku boys unrattled the Ihuyase Defense in the 37th minute to put their noses in front making the scores 2-1.
The goal seems to be what Ihuyase needed as they now took the game to their opponent backed by the home fans and it paid off in the 42nd minutes off a well taken free kick.
After the interval, Ihu-iyase continued to pile pressure on Visionaries Shaky defence and in the 55th a well taken corner kick was connected by a beautiful header to make it 3-2 in Favour of the Agbor Boys.
The Second half was virtually a one way traffic as Ihuyase dominated possession and in the 72nd minute they took the game beyond visionaries with another dangerous free kick which visionaries goalkeeper had no answers to.
Ihu-iyase were presented with the Gold medal and trophy, their second title in about 4 months haven won the maiden edition of the ACADUC Tournament last October.
Meanwhile before the finals a novelty match between the ANIOMA Coaches and IKA Coaches ended in a goalless draw.
