Leicester City attacker, Kelechi Iheanacho has declared that the Super Eagles’ training progamme has been spot on, ahead of their battle with Libya in Saturday’s Africa Cup of Nations qualifier.
Iheanacho declared in a chat with sports247.ng ahead of the match at Godswill Akpabiuo International Stadium in Uyo that morale is high in the Eagles’ camp.
The former Columbus Crew of America and Manchester City of England whiz kid reckoned that the training programme, which commenced on Wednesday, has been a thorough exercise that should see the Eagles seal victory on Saturday.
Iheanacho said: “All the things we worked on in training came off and it all went well, so the manager is happy.
“The lads are more than experienced to go into the next game and do the same. With the players we have and how we’re playing, I think we can do the same (as we did against Seychelles).”
