Igwe Jerry Patrick Onuokaibe, the traditional ruler of Mburubu in Nkanu East Local Government Area of Enugu State, visited the office of Rangers International FC earlier today to reaffirm his commitment to grassroots football development.

During his meeting with the club’s General Manager, Barrister Amobi Ezeaku, Igwe Onuokaibe commended the GM for his innovative leadership, which has been instrumental in attracting investors and elevating Rangers FC on the global football map. He also prayed for continued success for both the club and its management.
As part of his support, Igwe Onuokaibe donated ₦1 million to cover logistics for Rangers’ upcoming away fixture against Bayelsa United. He further extended his generosity by gifting ₦1 million each to club legends Emmanuel Okala and Christian Chukwu.
In addition, he pledged ₦1 million to the Rangers U19 team, another ₦1 million to the GM, and even gifted him a plot of land. He also promised to provide track trousers for all registered players of the club.
Beyond his personal contributions, Igwe Onuokaibe vowed to rally his friends to support Rangers International FC, emphasizing that the club is a symbol of pride for all Igbos.
In response, GM Amobi Ezeaku expressed profound gratitude for the royal support, assuring Igwe Onuokaibe that Rangers will continue to uphold the hopes of Ndigbo through their performances. He also called on other affluent Igbo individuals to support the club.
To mark the occasion, the GM presented ten Rangers FC jerseys to Igwe Onuokaibe.
The meeting was also graced by the Chairman of the Anambra State Football Association, General Chikelue Iloenyosi, alongside his media aide, Ndema Obinna Phamouzdj.
