Lagos based Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens defeated Delta Babes 1-0 in the second semifinal game to advance to the final of the maiden edition of the Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup holding at Asaba, Delta state.
Describing his run in the tournament, the coach of Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens, Jaiyeola Damilare said that Imo Strikers are his toughest opponent in the competition because they lost to them in the group stage but he’s confident of winning the trophy as both teams clash in the final of the Ifeanyi Chiejine Memorial Cup at Stephen Keshi stadium, Asaba.
“First and foremost, I want to thank the organizers of this competition for coming up with this great tournament because it’s an avenue to prepare us for the NWFL Championship coming up in 2023 and we are dedicating this win to our chairman, Prince Kazeem Eletu for his continuous support to the team.
“The team that I see as my toughest opponent is Imo Strikers because we met in the group stage and they defeated us 1-0 and we will be meeting in the final and this time, the trophy is for Prince Kazeem Eletu Queens.”
