Nigeria full back Brian Idowu has declared that Saturday’s clash with Libya will represent an important, fierce test for his side.
The Super Eagles who are third on the log with three points from two games, meet the Mediterranean Knights at the Godswill Akpabio Stadium this weekend in the 2019 Africa Cup of Nations (AFCON) qualifier.
Idowu thinks the Eagles will be fired up to face the North Africans.
He told Sports247.ng: “It is an important match to have because we need to cover ground in the Group.
“We will expect a tough test. It will be a fierce game.
“It is a game we all want to win. There will be a great atmosphere here in Uyo.
