Lobi Stars of Makurdi vice-chairman, Mike Idoko has sent out words of thanks to other clubs in the Nigeria Professional Football League (NPFL) for the co-operation they are giving his team for the CAF Champions League.
Idoko, who recalled that he appealed for support some weeks back in the signing of key players, told sports247 that he is happy colleagues in the league have responded well.
He affirmed that Lobi Stars want to bring back the lost glory the country used to enjoy in continental competitions and stressed that the CAF Champions League semi-finalists of the year 2000 will not disappoint.
Idoko said: “Lobi Stars are equal to the task of challenging all opponents in the continent. We are working hard to achieve success for Nigeria this year and bring back the glory days of continental conquests.”
