Olusosun United attacking midfielder, Philip Odubia has reacted to two goals he scored against Atlas Football Club in the ongoing Ikeja Divisional Football Association Super League.
Olusosun United lived up to expectations as they hammered the visiting team,Atlas 2-1 in an encounter watched by IDFA boss,Taiwo Rafiu Alagbe and other football stakeholders at Olusosun pry school on Tuesday.
Speaking with sports 247.ng, Odubia said he raised his game because Atlas are a good side and they were coming on revenge mission.
“I am happy for this hard fought victory.My two goals I scored against our opponents showed that i can do better in subsequent matches.Atlas are a good side but I took my chances to ensure that Atlas leave our ground with defeat.I am happy that we beat them home and away,”he said.
Odubia said the team should not be comfortable with their victory but insisted that his target is to take his team to qualify for the super four at the end of the season.
In other results,Alimcity beat 89 FC, Mighty Sparrow lost 0-3 to Kotech, while NAFRC played 1-1 with Crowned Academy.
