Officials of International Cricket Council (ICC) are set to arrive in Nigeria to facilitate improved arrangement of stripes in Abuja and Lagos.
This much has been made known by the president of Nigeria Cricket Federation (NCF), Professor Adams Yahaya, who told sports247.ng that the wickets in Lagos and Abuja will be streamlined by the ICC officials.
Yahaya stated further that the stripes, otherwise known as the wickets, at Tafawa Balewa Square, Lagos and The Oval in Abuja will be laid at the same time.
He beamed with delight, saying: “I am happy to inform you that the stripes will be laid simultaneously very soon under the supervision of experts from the ICC.
“At present, the cricket pitch of the TBS Lagos is already seventy percent redeveloped. Everything will soon be completed in both Lagos and Abuja.”
