Ibrahim Gbadamosi Qizilqum recorded a second consecutive victory for the first time after defeating Metallurg Bekabad in an away match in the Uzbekistan Super League by a 1- 2 scoreline.
Ibrahim had propelled Qizilqum in his debut match with a victory, a man of the match performance, and a goal against Buxoro earlier in the week.
A kilichev 7″ min and Sanayer 15″ goal was all Qizilqum needed to force her way off the relegation zone. Ibrahim’s joining forces with the team have been very productive and have robbed off with victories both home and away outings.
He was a goal-bound and was almost set to mark a goal in his second match for his new team when he was brought down at the edge of the box, the resultant freekick by Kilichev in the 7th min resulted in the first goal as Qizilqum mounted intensive pressure and were rewarded 8 mins later with a second goal. Mettalurg consolation goal came in the 90″ through Toshpulatov I.
With this successive victories, Qizilqum sits on the 12th position on the log with 8 points while 7th position Metallurg were forced to swallow the pills of defeat at home.
