Chairman Ibom Angels, Mr. Emmanuel Ibah has revealed the current situation of the club amidst worries of possible disbanment and discord among staffs and players as he moves to quench rumours surrounding the Akwa based club.
In a recent interview with Dapo Shotimu, head of media Nigeria domestic football league, he said: My view of the management is very optimistic, I don’t run the management of the club, am not to intrude uninvited, they play the roles where they are, I can only see to the limit I can see. I only speak about what I know about the club.”
“From what I know, they have just been given a break to go home since there is no football again, waiting for signals to resume, it’s a normal thing for any club side to take a break with provisions to pay them.”
“There’s nothing like disbanment, it’s just the normal routine. There’s nothing to be scared off, the club management is working to make sure everything is in place when the league finally resumes” he concluded.
