John Egbuleze, Chairman Johnmax Property and Services Ltd has lamented his team wastefulness in front of goal admitting distaste over thier unlucky draw at the ongoing IASC Unity Cup as a win could have seen them top every other team but vowed that they will do better in thier next game.
Coming into the game, Johnmax were on four points as a win will guarantee them all three points which will place them top in the log ahead of everyone but a late equalizer against D-SHA Apartments which ended the game 1-1 ruined the party for them, Sports247.ng writes.
With this result, we now have two teams levelled on five points which automatically makes the race for the golden trophy open.
Speaking after the game, Johnmax admitted his unhappiness, “I’m not happy with today’s encounter because we were supposed to win. We entered the game with that mindset but unfortunately, we drew the match.”
“It’s a game, sometimes you go into the pitch having it in mind that you are supposed to win the game but you draw. It’s not a bad game neither a bad result, atleast we are part of the top two teams.”
“Just two teams on five points, we will do much better although we missed a lot of chances which everyone obviously saw but I believe next game will be a better one,” he promised.
