Wonderkid Boluwatife Thompson was spotted by Sports247 after dazzling in a friendly game for the Eko Football U13 and the lad explained that he loved football and that one has to work hard to get the achievements in football which will not be forgotten.
“My dad bought me my first boot and encouraged me to play football,” was one of his major comments as he was brought into the game by his coach who played him as a right full back.
The lad also explained how key it is to have education in order to make it in football and in life generally. “I want to play football and I must study for school too because if you do not know how to speak and write, you can’t play football,” Thompson said.
He encouraged other young footballers out there to ensure the get proper education to be able to speak and also write as it will help them make it in the sport and in life at large.
