Former Tanzania national team coach, Emmanuel Amunike has said that speaking many language is a skill to help with communication of ideas to players.
Amunike who led Tanzania to their first AFCON appearance in 2019 said this in a question and answer session on the NSM rebranded platform.
‘it is a skill in terms of communication with your players. In Tanzania that I was, I had to go through second party,but it is always good when you are in position to really make things clearer and understandable to players on ideas and how you want them to function’.
The former Barcelona forward noted that he can speak Spanish fluently, a little bit of Arabics and he still wants to learn more.
‘well, I can speak Spanish, Arabic. Arabic not that good, even though I played there, since I didn’t see anyone to communicate with, I did my course in Spanish, afforded me the chance to learn more of Spanish and English and I hope I can be in a position to continue to learn’.
The Olympic gold medalist had a 3 year stint at Egyptian club, Zamalek and is currently with another Egyptian club, Misr Lel Makkasa Sporting Club as Academy Supervisor.
