Jumez International FC are still to register its first win of the 2021 Fusion Football Championship after playing out a goalless draw with Goshen Stars FC on Tuesday.
The draw leaves Jumez In’tl with only two points from its first three games in the 2021 Fusion Football Championship season.
Post-match, Jumez’s forward Ekene Godwin spoke to Sports247 on the team’s early-season woes. Godwin admitted to pressures setting in but he is confident his side will fight back.
“We are still working hard, trying to work on our finishing and to get our first win,” he said. “We want to work hard so we can be on the top half of the table.
“Personally, I want to work on myself and score more goals to help the team earn more points.
“It depends on us the players to work on ourselves individually and also work as a team to get our team back on top of our game and the league,” he added.
